the name of research. Hundreds of innocent animals die every day due to failures in animal

testing.

Product testing is commonly performed on animals to measure the levels of skin irritancy, eye tissue damage, and toxicity caused by various substances used in the manufacture of cosmetics.

After enduring these terrifying, painful procedures, animals are then usually dumped back into a cage without any painkillers. Video footage from inside laboratories shows animals who cower in fear every time someone walks by their cages. They don't know if they will be dragged from their prison cells for an injection, blood withdrawal, a painful procedure, surgery, or death. Often they see other animals killed right in front of them.

Luckily, the non-animal tests available today are cheaper, faster, and more accurate at predicting human reactions to a product than the old animal tests ever were. More and more companies are switching to non-animal tests as consumer support for cruelty-free products grows.

많은 사람들이 생각하기를 동물실험을 통해 안정성이 입증된 제품들이 좋다고 생각하지만, 꼭 그렇지는 않습니다. 많은 과학의 발달로 인해 굳이 동물실험 없이도 더 정확하고 안정성있는 테스트들이 많고 현추세에 따라 많은 화장품 회사들이 동물실험을 피하고 있습니다.

From the toothpaste and shampoo that we use to the charities that we support, our lives are full of daily opportunities to take a stand against cruel experiments on animals. We can save animals from painful experiments by purchasing some of the cruelty-free products that are available in stores everywhere, and only donating to humane charities that help people without hurting animals.
