This apartment in Holland Park occupies the top three floors of a beautiful stucco-fronted house. Developer Paul Roshan spent around £2 million on the yearlong refurbishment. "It was a complete mess internally. There were many small rooms but we converted the place into very spacious accommodation," he says.

"You've got a very large living room and it is all open-plan," Mr. Roshan says. "We went for an extremely opulent design and style."

There are padded walls studded with crystals. "The crystal chandeliers are all bespoke from Italy. We use silk everywhere: wallpaper, carpet, curtains, blinds," Mr. Roshan adds.

The house is listed with Savills U.K. at £9.75 million ($15 million).
