| california parks are categorized into 3, state parks, county parks, and city parks.
ralph park is one of orange county parks. and el dorado is a long beach city park.
you have to purchase different annual passes.
the beaches you like to go to can be city's or state's. (huntington beach and bolsa chica beach are state's, but newport beach is city's) they are all different.
to make it simple, you can't use one annual pass for all parks.
in my case, i used to purchase both a state park and a los angeles county park pass.
the state park pass was used for surfing beaches and camping grounds in summer.
and county park pass was for picnics at various parks in la county area. (cerritos regional park and frank bonelli regional park in san dimas for example) |
